however its Shabath Shalom and you can say it before shabath start ( thats when most people use it ) or when during shabath you with a good shabath to a Jew

its most use is to wish a good and happy shabath to people whom you dont see till after the shabath

Shabath starts from friday evening the moment three stars are visible with the naked eye till the same on saturday , its the seventh day for Judaism , this means in Israel we start our week on sunday , and we work till friday noon
