  • Killing our Neighbours.

The time has come for the Apolyton Imperial Hordes to fight one last time, a final battle that will rid us of the evil people calling themselves Greeks and Germans

My battleplan for the Greek western front is as follows:

    Preperation round:
Build RR upto the mountain west of Militos, put a combo of 2 setts and 1 vet alpine on that mountain.Put the same combo on the hill and forrest west of Halicarnassus.

Take Cremona, this shouldnt be any problem, but as the Greeks are more then likely building vet alpines I suggest for this and all attacks the walls are taken down first, especialy on rivers.

Prework as much settlers as you can, we'll need them for next round

    The big push:

Witchever combo west of Halicarnassus survives makes a road on the forrest, other preworked settlers move in and build a RR. City walls in Halicarnassus go down and we blast everything inside with cannons.

Check if the hill is roaded, if not build a RR to the city that should be located at A.
Take this city and move 1 preworked settler and 10 vet cavs to a new to build fort north of Herakleia for the assault next round, later send in an alpine from the RR.

Continue the RR east, take out Mycenae, Delphi and Pharsalos. We capture Suntsu and sell all but 3 barracks for 2000 gold + 100 extra gold/turns afterwards.

We take Corinth and continue SW to capture Athens .

If the city planner can provide enough units we can capture more city's on the same turn:
The city located at B, Thessaloniki, Thermapolae and maybe Pergamon.

If we have enough engineers start building a railroad east.

Build a fort on the mountain west of Miletos, it is jammed so we can take it out later, start buildgin RR and send in 2 riflemen just to make sure.

    Aftermath:

Get a fort next to Sparta and capture it on the next round.
There must be 1-2 more city's in the black spot, they will be captured in the following rounds, bribed if Greeks change out of demo.

Railroad east and take out everything that moves in the process, link up with our city's in the middle and capture the Greek eastern city's. With Greece destroyed, we move in on Nurenberg and capture the city's in the riverdelta.

Now the only thing left to do is capture Rammstein and the possible city's on the pole, with German citycount as it is there might be one or two of them out there.

Looks good. The hardest part will be the next few turns with Miletos and Halicarnassus.

Another option we can do with the pre-worked settlers, once they build a road, is to build a fortress.

What about the units from the former Russian front? We have a fair number that are just sitting there, since they don't have a connecting railroad.

I can use these to take out the Greek cities on the centre, coming from the East as well as the West.
