Foreign Minister supports the suspension of science in favour of money collection for bribing.

Bribe those Germans, or if their capital is within reach, capture it and then bribe them out!

/me , office of the City Planner, support the temporary suspension of science in favour of acquiring Communism from the Greeks, and bribing as many cities as possible. Subsequent to acquiring Communism however, the science rate should be increased at least to a rate so that we can discover our next advance (hopefully espionage ) as soon as possible.

Here's the end of the log.

            1850:

Discover Greek fortress filled will Cannon south of Miletos.

Not so much to spend, about 1K since I want to citybribe.

            Switching sliders back to 60/0/40

Now making 2.7K gold per turn.

            Hit enter

Greeks counterattack, kill Vet alpine south of Miletos and engineer North of Miletos. Both Halicarnassus and Miletos have cannons inside their cities, no railroad into the city, with hills and forests protecting the city.

Greek spy acquires sanitation from Dis.

Germans smash defensive Rifleman protecting Heidelburg. No other moves.

            Cash at 7.3K

Incite Revolt in Brandenburg, 240 gold.
Incite Revolt in Genoa, 50 gold

We get our first caravan of the game! Should we deliver the 'van?

Incite Revolt in Cologne, 1024 gold.
Incite Revolt in Cremona, 258 gold
Incite Revolt in Dortmund, 456 gold

            We get WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE!

Incite Revolt in Bonn, 450 gold

Rehome Engineers. We don't have very many cities losing food anymore.

Build railroad and advance diplomat to Rammstein.

            Railroad to American delta completed.

            I accidentally hit start.
            I'll stop here.

            Germans revolt to Democracy!
            Greeks do nothing.

Most of our army is in the German area, where we have some troops sleeping elsewhere.

            Military:

            30 Diplomats,
            45 Cannons
            29 Calvary
            86 Engineers.
            14 Alpine Troops.

We have 8017 gold to spend.
We are one turn away from Communism.

            Germans have 8 cities.
            Greeks have 27 cities.

Saves have been sent to the ministers, so figure out what you want to poll on.

Well done Mr. President. An utter destruction of the German might and collapse of their fundamentalism just as I suspected!!! Unfortunately, no bribes from now on. Maybe Greeks will switch to Communism when they discover it.

Come to think of it, maybe we should discover it and give it away hoping Greeks and Germans might switch to it and make bribes possible again. The only drawback is that communist cities are much more expensive, but with our cash flow, that shouldn't be a problem.

We could speed up science to get espionage in 6 turns and make the cities cheaper. Poll about these choices coming soon.

some nice cracking of German skulls
(one would almost be happy with them changing to democracy, just for the renewed challenge it gives )

We are doing great general, and we have you to thank for it.

Well I still don't believe Spies are all that necessary given the smashing successes we have turn after turn, but it is clear that the force is with obiwan.
                    Consul.

Back to the ROOTS of addiction. My first missed poll!

I will study the save and have polls up by tomorrow.
We are at a very interesting phase in our game

Yes, but making up per turn attack plans is quite funny with the amounts of units we have

Its amazing what you can do in 1 round

Thought someone out there might want to know this.
We also have a general idea where the other German cities are, (by process of elimination) and have Alpines exploring the nearby area.
