It seems the time for voting (polls) is now at an end...can the time for seeing what our new King can do be far off? It will be interesting to see how our leader acts with his new found power...will he respect the wishes of the people, listen to the wisdom of his ministers
, or decide our fate on his own, leading the empire based upon his own whims and desires.

Regardless of the form of government our glorious civ is empoying at any given time, I always keep in mind the the game itself is based on democracy. The Citizens rule!
While the specific recommendations I act upon during the playing sessions is based on what the Ministers tell me to do, those instructions are based on the group decisions of the Citizens as expressed to the Ministers through the polls they arrange.
So, the process is that the President plays a session of turns (usually about 8-10), posts screenshots for Citizen information, and sends the new game file to the Ministers. The Ministers, in turn, then poll the Citizens about the most important decisions. The Ministers relay the results of the polls and specific suggestions to implement those poll results, and the President then plays the next series of turns based on that.
Sometimes there are conflicting suggestions from the Ministers. The President tries to balance the demands of the various Ministers and I personally give great weight to the discussions by the Citizens in resolving those conflicts.
You may rest assured that my leadership upgrade from Despot to Monarchal Pharoah will not blind my eyes nor block my ears to the wishes of the Citizens!Civ2 Demo Game #1 City-Planner, President, Historian
