Can we please have the good old quotes back?

1) we use the classic fortune cookie unix program. it's archive is quite big, just think that it has 30kb of star trek quotes

2) we'll add civ-related quotes as soon as i find the way(asaiftw). unix-literate people are welcome to help

3) asap and asaiftw there will be way to pause and restart the redirect

I think it's not hard to do a pause. Just set a timer when the page is done loading. Seems like it can do the trick.

Just set a timer when the page is done loading

i can do that already, but not all people want to read the quote and would hate having to wait 2-3 extra seconds every time. the "pause" would be "man-controlled"....

Cant you add an option in the control panel where you select how many seconds you want it delayed?

I like the quote, but I can barely read it before it is gone. Cable modem is too fast, maybe I should log on using a 56k?
