Minimizing it doesn't work for me
This is most annoying. If this isn't fixed, I predict mass exodus. I'll be one of them.

Yeah minimizing doesn't work for me, everytime I go to a new page it pops up again and makes itself the active window. Most annoying. I'll check back here in a few days to see if it's gone.

1) We're continuing to work with our hosts on this. Since we're not alone on this world
and since things are not entirely on our hands, this isn't a quick process
2) As other have mentioned, if you dont close the pop-up and just leave it there, it wont open up or get back in front of you. This isn't the best solution, but it's something

Please remove the pop up. Minimizing it doesn't work for me either. I'm sure the pop up means extra revenue, but I'm sure that it won't be sufficient to make up for the loss resulting from people turning their java off before coming to Apolyton, or simply minimizing there visits here!

btw - I have minimized (not closed) the pop up. It reopens as I go from page to page.

Yeah I worked out the minimise solution myself but when I'm on my office computer, I still get a "do you want to download macromedia?" screen whenever the frigging UGO ad appears. Please remember those of us who use workplace or university terminals, i.e. are behind firewalls or on networks, cannot change settings or download software to fix this HORROR

I think it may be if you're using AOL browser or something. If you are, then it opens up a new window every time.Who wants DVDs? Good prices! I swear!

I know it's not your fault, guys, but you can add my name to the list of people who aren't at all happy about this.
I had kept the pop-up minimised so it didn't keep coming up, but that's not a solution. On my computer I decide what windows are open. It's the principle of the thing.
