    I may have disagreed with you in the past, but I see your point completely. Asher has been ragging on you ever since you became a mod, and just posted that thread to take a cheap shot at you.

    When he posted the second thread, Asher's desire became clear, and MtG really had no choice but to ban him for posting another thread after the first had been closed.

    If he disagreed with you closing his first thread, he ought to have contacted you or one of the other mods via PM.

      I have just noticed that Asher's account has been deleted because it didn't come up in a search. Since when did this happen?

        A member who is on the "restricted" list does not show up on the member list, so a search won't find him. He has not been deleted... he's just serving time for his actions

              I think MtG restricted him for a week... I probably would have banned him for longer. Baiting mods is not a smart thing to do, and we really don't want to encourage people to play that game

                        While I supported Asher's actions re: the Mac forum, I really think he's gone overboard.

                                Thanks , MtG , for banning Asher . At least for one week , we will have no more trolling of tech thread , veiled insults , and less trolling in general . I don't approve of speaking ill of the dead (or banned ) , but how's that , Asher , for "Jesus , we need a mod" .
