Hehe, it is certainly true that I view threads started by experienced posters with more scepticism than those started by a chieftain say. Post stats threads started by settlers might also be suspicious.

However it is perfectly plausible that emperors who posted a lot before the stats were introduced could genuinely ask. Also people that don't post in A/C much could easily miss it despite a high post count.

If they don't post in the A/C much, they are not likely to go there to ask.

And if it's a settler that asks, you can bet we'll check out who won for any possible hanky panky DLs.

Fair enough, I'd like to revise my original request for a new rule to read.

And can we add a rule that it doesn't count if started by a "Spammer".

          Happy now?

So that's why the mods let this game go on. It's a DL hunter.

              I say Nov. 24th.

I think you underestimate Rasputin. Back in the day, when the name Rasputin was synonymous with posting 300 times a week in the A/C forum, I don't think Ras actually started very many threads at all. The spam was more refined in those days. The threads were carefully left for at least a page before the sharks descended, and spam was a subtle art, for long boring threads that the mods never visited. Opening a thread for the sole point of spamming was certainly not cricket! Bad show, and so forth. Having not been on Poly for several months, I think Rasputin's question was almost certainly valid, and if it was not, he would have found more subtle and ingenious ways to ask it.

What happened with that refined ways of spamming? Were they to inefficient?

                        Woohoo a friend at last

I just am a very opinionated person who likes to tell everyone his opinion whethr they want it or not

But that was the old raz, now i just ask meaningful questions about changes to poly sinc ei been gone, or asking for small change as in adding msn messenger details. But alas, i am tarnished and no one responds to my threads.

It doesn't count if it's started by somebody posted in this thread.

Ras? His spams have always been bloody obvious.
