  • Show 75 posts per page

This option is now available from your control panel. I've no idea how long it's been there, but it's there now.

I know some people were complaining when 50ppp got taken away, so the introduction of 75ppp will likely be well received by them.

    Just FYI.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

        I prolly wont change.

It is easier to calculate with 50 posts per page, than with 75.

        50+50= 133.75...right

        75+75= 150....eh

The last time I switched up to 50 posts per page, I had difficulty viewing some pages.

This cropped up, I suspect, because those pages contained posts from long ago, before the Quick Reply feature appeared. At that point, you could have 30,000 characters per post. After Quick Reply was switched on, you could only have a maximum of 10,000 characters per post. This may have applied to the display properties of the page as well.

I started a thread called "Joe" which had some truly colossal posts. The forum installed Quick Reply halfway through, and I was no longer able to even view the previous pages unless I drastically reduced the number of posts per page viewed.

                My eyes!
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

If I'm going to read all the posts anyways, will one make less load for 'Apolyton?

I may just give it a try.

It probably will average out to less load for Apolyton, provided you would have viewed that page plus the one after.

                      I might try 100.

I could see that going either way, but I'd agree with you.
