I liked 50, but now I get 40. Could it be that I changed to a Light (or maybe it was Special) style?

If you had it set at 50 or some other number, it will stay like that until you go into the "change options" part of your control panel and mkae some changes. So if you want to keep it like it is, don't change your options.Comment

After being downloaded, the thread has no effect on the load. Ten thousand people could have a window with 100 posts in it, if they just didn't load them all at once.

50 is good.
I would find the other thread, but people have answered the question in this thread already.
Don't change your options, otherwise you will have to drop from 50 to default.
Much quicker to catch up when reading 50 posts per page.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.
