        2111 to the Roob-ster.

Finally, a second basesite. Oh well, the victory will be that much sweeter.

The Roob-ster?!? 2111 to the Pirates...

I have NEVER - in any of my games - seen so many rocky squares at a landing site. Base placement is almost predetermined... hmm!

(Edit: If we are able to continue at this pace a little longer... 2120 is not that far away!)

That's strange, I see very few rocks. Could be because I haven't landed anywhere yet. But I'm not that lucky either, turns out the island I was going to populate was already populated. Now one of my bases has six base squares. That's annoying.

I was reading, what you writeing and... I think I am lucky 'cause I have good place near my landsite (note the best, but only little fungus and some rockies) and very brightening future

2112 to Zalek. I'm really starting to wonder if my early switch to planned was a good idea. The inefficiency is painful!

Gufnork - only Hive should switch to planed , 'cause they are immune to efficienty - they always have 0. Other faction must pay vaery much for this settings.

                          2113 to Rubin.

With the Pirates? -3 efficiency. Ouch. How do you have the tech lead vs. Borgs and Uni???

Ed. Early in the game -2 efficiency isn't so bad if your bases are close together and you stick with 50/50 econ/tech. But I mostly agree-- it's not my favorite.

2113 to Gufnork. (I revealed just two squares this turn... Guess what? One fungus and one rocky!?!)

Zalek, the Borgs can run planned and still have 0 in efficiency - not too bad IMO.

I haven't played Pirates much and since I have plenty of cash and managed to trade me Planetary Networks, I figured I'd try. I figured that pumping out colony pods and ignore research would work to begin with.
