Clicking "Add" has now brought up a new window, which is the one you see below in this post. You will need to type in "Apolyton" in the Description, "Apolyton.net" in the IRC Server and "6667" as the port. Then click the "OK".

Now, you're back to the original connection options screen.

Use the pull down menu of servers and select the Apolyton server. It should be the LAST server on the list (since you just added it).

Finally, click "OK" at the bottom of this window to connect to the Apolyton server.

Once connected to the Apolyton server and all of the text has stopped moving on the connection screen, go to the command line at the bottom and type in the following and press return:

/join #channel password

(obviously, replace "channel" with the channel name and "password" with the password)


You can type things into the command line to chat with the rest those in the channel. To simply chat, it's really that simple.
