  • I'm getting this through PMs with Googlie, as I inquired as to the state of the embassy when I first noticed it was offline - I wanted to know if he caused it or not. Obviously, he couldn't post this in the embassy, and he can't post it in public or our private forums, so PM and email are the only remaining options. I'm just forwarding the communication.

As far as why they're doing it, don't worry too much about them. The most influence we can have is by improving our own position, and not by trying to win mind games.

    • I told them that we now find them untrustworthy as a result of their mindgame and asked them not to tamper with forum controls again. If they hoped to achieve anything they are fools.
I also asked Drogue to create a new private forum at Eventis for that purpose.

Oh this was planned outright, as well Snodassmens outbursts. They are trying to scare us that we are creating enemies in them by our refusal to play by their terms. Some of their members used a similar kind of mindgames before to justify their betrayals with PEACE in past ACDG. We should signal them that only thing they are achieving is annoying us.

        • Don't worry about complaining to them. It just gives them an excuse to go after us, if some of them are uncertain. The Spartans, like us, are not of one mind, and we shouldn't help them fix that.

            • Angels are probably going for friendship with both, trying to earn from our disagreements with Spartans. However GeoModder did mention they've negotiated successful deals with Spartans.
The Data Angels have been firm in their viewpoint about 'freedom of information' sofar, and despite this 'handicap' were able to conclude successfull deals sofar. We hope to setup a new trade which might enhance the diplomatic contacts between the High Council and the Junta, but chances look slim at this moment.

InfoTrader Mart might be able to talk more openly about these issues later on. Also, IT Mart is responsible of forwarding information regarding our mutual tech treaty. In the future I must insist on solely contacting him in this matter, until he declares himself released of this duty and a replacement has introduced himself.

                • Nah, I replied recently. I don't think we have to use that yet. And they did not lie, they were just misleading.

                  • Whatever, it's still grounds for being disgruntled. It would also put them in their place.

                    • If they pull up the fact about doubletrade of Angel commlink we can put them in place with this.

                      • Good Lord Illuminatus,

I've had to due to RL reasons stay in the background for the last few weeks (and will have to for the rest of the month), and I have observed that the situation has started to grow colder by the day between our two factions. I am concerned as to where this development is taking us, and I'd like to propose a meeting of senior faction leadership that would take place in an arena of your choosing through a medium that will allow real time discussions, such as IRC. We intend to have at least two of our senior officers present - probably Lt Col Googlie and/or Maniac, and me myself.

                        Yours sincerely,

                        Major Kassiopeia
So... time to test IRC connection?

                            • I was not online, sorry and don't have no IRC program..

If you could give me instructions how to install mIRC, I'd very like to join!
Last time I tried it, I stuck on multiple stupid error messages which I couldn't read not because my English is bad, but because pure(!) programmers had written em - like "can't connect!"; "well," I thought, "and what can I do about it?", but there was not even a sufficent help file to give me a hand..
