    • It is a shame I can't have a look at the turn until this evening. Is there anything unusual?

      • Nope, nothing unexpected. I'm sitting on it for the moment to allow last-minute suggestions.

        • BT's defense sounds good to me, that would bring us closer to the base and let us defend from our territory.

          • Speaking of placing sensors along the coast, I have a question.

In SP games even when not in vendetta, you can use ships artillery to knock out terrain improvements (including sensors). Is this something we'll have to worry about from the other players?

            • Maybe, but it's still a hostile act for another faction to attack one of our sensors, and if we catch them at it one way or another, it's ample cause for vendetta. Some of our sensors are not vulnerable to being picked off undetected, or at all, including those under bases and those inside our perimeter of bases.

              • Could we change production in Lily of the Valley from RecTanks to Sea Formers? It is under 10 minerals, and we need every turn we can get to make this former move north and cut us off from Hive. Hive isnt moving its troops yet, but better not risk it. RecTanks can wait, Sea Former is priority I say. A few bonus resources are nothing if we are overrun by Hive rovers.

                • Of course, the only reason it wasn't making a Sea Former before is because we didn't have Doc: Flex.

-- Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

                      Turn's in!

Spartans have the Command Nexus, Angels have the Virtual World, Spartans are working on the MCC, Morganites are working on the PEG.

                      Nothing special near us, though.

                        In other words:

1.Spartans now can fend off Hive.

2.Angels will be quite able to research and popboom (NN at every city is now essential for them)

3.Spartans are trying to grab every military SP available and MCC is a step in the process as it gives them 50% more popped sea pods, thus 50% more cash from them and maybe even some AAs. They will be able to build both CDF and CF if they get there first.

4.Morgan is growing more and more powerful and if he's rebuilding bases, each base gets EB, which is just awesome for them..

                          • I really doubt Morgan can get an economic victory without either becoming very large compared to the Hive (which would be obvious well ahead of time) or conquering some factions, since the AIs have more bases than normal, which drives up the cost of economic victory. The PEG is useful to most Morganite strategies.

Build Rec Tanks at most bases (rather than crawlers, formers, military, etc).

Rush Rec Commons whenever they'd keep citizens from being doctors.
