Colonel Googlie slips a note to a runner indicating it be sent to Lt-Colonel Snoddasmannen and Commander Modo, but the runner mistakenly inserts it into the reader for general dissemination to all conference participants:

Our historic first general election results are in. The change to DEMOCRACY was a resounding success, with the creation of a general coalition government by our 2 main parties - the Federation Democratic Party, chaired by Colonel Maniac, who becomes Prime Minister and Finance Minister, and the Sparta Reform Coalition, which I chair. I'll be Deputy Prime Minister and will retain responsibility for homeland security and covert operations.

Somewhat disquieting was the showing in Arcadia by the Faculty for a Free Arcadia. Lt-Colonel Kassiopeia's name was bandied about frequently by those party members, in his absence, but I'm sure that he doesn't share their goals. We need to talk to our friend Zakharov to ensure that he isn't quietly funding an independence movement among his former bases.

And the Green Chiron Party garnered quite a few votes as well - damn those Gaians with their eco-gospel that they promulgate at every opportunity.

But a good result - the two Junta-backed parties came through as expected, although we do have some concerns with the bases at the Hive border. The party that Captain Tassadar lent his prestige to - the Federated Socailists - whose agenda seems to be to join with the Hive - gained surprising support there. We'll have to make sure that we keep those bases fully garrisoned to fend off any breakaway tendencies that might be lurking in them.

A good result overall, though. Colonel Maniac and I are extremely happy with the turnout and the outcome.

The Corporation knows the true value of business contracts, will therefore honour their obligations of 98 ec and is looking forward to a prosperous and profitable era of peace with the Federation.

Furthermore, the Corporation congratulates the newly elected Federal government, Colonel Maniac and Colonel Googlie.

Sorry about an offtopic post, but a while ago there was a discussion how next ACDG whould look like.

There was an idea AI factions should be some volunteer humans playing them.

Tassadar's RP here is what Yang AI should look like.
                Very good, actually!

It... is a pleasant surprise, that the Spartan Federation and the Corporation have come to an agreement regarding their mutual future.

Can I ask the Spartan Representative if steps will be taken to persuade their allies to sign a truce or a peace treaty as well with the Corporation?

Also, with this conflict seemingly resolved, perhaps we could tune our attention now to the Gaian-Spartan dispute?

/me 's commlink device blinks with a silent sound turning his attention to it. He reads for a minute and then clicks on the touchscreen.. A moment of waiting and a simple blank sheet with black letters appear on the main conference room's projector:

Giving the fact that Corporation has already decided to make peace with Spartan Federation, Gaian Union discloses it's only term of peace:

-All Spartan military units* should be removed from Gaian continent and coastal waters.

*military units - units whose attack value exceed 0 (zero) or which are probes.

Gaian Union has no objections for Spartan Federation's formers or empty transports travelling through the coastal waters, though should they step onto Gaian land, they should announce their exact coordinates.

PJay enters the conference, reads this line on the screen:

*military units - units whose attack value does not exceed 0 (zero) and which are not probes.

Then leaves again, wondering why the Gaians use such strange definitions. He is now very convinced to read all the small letters of any contract he might ever sign.

Colonel Googlie looks up from his wristlink, and then stands up to address the Conference:

"The Federation is pleased with position of the Corporation regarding outstanding indebtedness.

"Upon receipt of the 98 credits, we will speak Truce, and proceed to address the other outstanding issues between our factions.

"Regarding the position of the Gaian Union, we will comply with their reasonable request - excepting that we reserve the right to traverse the so-called "choke point" (Co-ordinates 53:52 and 54:52) at any time with any vessel, however laden, without advising any other party of our position or intentions

"(And note that at this present time the so-called "choke point" is in Hive territory, and as the Chairman has decided to boycott this conference, he has no say in the codicils that are agreed upon here.)

"As to the definition of "coastal waters", we will respect any waters that fall within boundary markers as they appear on the universal map of Chiron - waters outside such markers we will treat as open waterways.

"Note, however, that our MoDo Doctrine still stands. For the Federation, our prohibited area extends 8 land or maritime tiles from any Spartan or University base, unless prior agreement has been given by the Junta for a non-Spartan vessel or other unit to traverse.

"And should the question be posed "How come the Spartan Federation gets an 8-tile exclusion area while we get only water tiles within demarked boundaries?" the answer is simple: Because we can enforce it."

                            Colonel Googlie sat down

Colonel Googlie murmers into his wristcom, and then delegates see a message text scrolling across their interactive display screens:

The Spartan Federation is pleased to announce that it has accepted the Truce terms offered by the Morgan Corporation. Our two factions are no longer in a state of Vendetta
