The runner hands the crystal to binTravkin, and mumbles in his ear, indicating the Colonel, who looks over and nods almost imperceptibly

binTravkin nods, makes up a serious face (doing which he's so skilled in), brings up a portable communicator and links the crystal to it.

After a few seconds wait, he disconnects the crystal and gives it back to the runner mumbling something short in his ear.
