The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

As Morgan has already over a dozen members I could withdraw and Create/MOD this one (and still have fun setting up and tracking the Morgan Shareholders Registry and Incentive Plan)
btw I know that my name has been mentioned for setting up the next ACDG game, and am wondering if this has been decided or not yet. np either way, but if it has been decided, then if it can be posted accordingly, then I can either move on to other projects or take a more active roll in how the game is being set up.

Darsnan is interested in creating this game, however HongHu has been hounding me mercilessly to join the Gaians (if she is like this in RL, then I pity her husband..... ). But I cannot simply drop the original responsibility I have signed up for, which is to create this game. And I definately do not think it is fair for Googlie to drop out of the Morganites just so I can join up.

I do not know how others would feel about it, but for me it would be ok if you Darsnan create the game and then join a faction. It might be for Roleplaying, for Diplomacy or occasional advice kinda strategies where knowledge of created map would not count. I believe you would be able to separate these things. Info like e.g. "you know, there is two tiles further a spot with mineral bonus on rocky terrain, still covered, so lets go get it" you would just keep only for yourself. I guess objectivity is not so impossible thing.
Anyway, this is only my idea, other people may feel less comfortable about it.
I think it would good for the Gaians and the ACDG if Darsnan joined the them. After designing two games for us I think he deserves some fun playing. Nor do I want to prevent Googlie from earning lots of ecs in Morgan industries, (more for the DA's, come the day when.......... ).
So let's first see if Buster wants to join one of the teams and if not then ask him if he would design the new ACDG for us.

Actually I enjoy quite a bit designing the games that you all play. I am very good at it, take pride in it, and nothing makes me more proud than when one of my AI's hits you in new and unique ways: reading E-Mails or in-game threads about how devious and dastardly I can be in my game designs is music to my ears.....
So please don't think this is a burden or a task on me - this is my way of paying back our community for all it has taught me, and all the pleasure it has brought me over the years.

If so, we need to make sure you're protected this time around... have we set up anything for MOD protection yet?

We understand your committment to create the game is your first priority. And I'm sure we'll enjoy your map greatly. But I also want to learn the little "tricks" you have in your sleeves as Gaians. Hopefully buster would like to do the map creating this time.

HongHu, Lord Darsnan's main "tricks" as the Gaians is to play like a cross between Roze ('Ecoterrorists cause extreme changes in SeaLevel - Treehuggers accused of rampant abduction and massacres of native life' ) and Sven ('GreenPeace stirs up trouble along neighbors' coasts - wild Spore launchers bombard artichoke fields ; Sea Monsters released to harrass shipping'). Keeps his enemies' coast guard busy and everybody's (friends' included) formers working overtime building dikes.
Looks like everything medium on a towards Large scale map, with the other slight biases easy to see.
For map size, I've simply given a number, tiny=1, small=2, med=3, large=4, huge=5, and found the average of all votes (there's 42 votes for planet size). It comes out as 3.714, so close to Large, but just under.
Looks pretty conclusive
