ah, that figures. Firaxis screwed up.

The leaderhead is that of Stadtholder William III aka King William I of England. Not that of William of Orange.

At least change the name of the leader, Firaxis.

That's what I said. They've got the wrong William of Orange.

They definately aren't changing the leaderhead. At the very best, they would change the name and discription.

Weren't they both William the Orange?

How do you know whether Thedora is anceint or Medieval?

EDIT: Should have used the Edit button

I guess it was how I looked at the thread

William the Orange? My favorite muppet!

Louis, same name, two different guys. It's like drawing John Quincy Adams when you mean John Adams.

I would say that Theodora is in her medieval outfit. Even though she was around in mid-1st century CE, I wouldn't qualify her as exactly "ancient." Her outfit is too ornate in comparison with the other ancient leaderheads, besides. Rome, Egypt, Babylon, Carthage, Arabia, et al don't even compare to Theodora, but medieval leaderheads match up a little more closely.

yes, though one was William III of Orange.

Our William, the guy who got shot in 1581, was Stadtholder William I. Their WIlliam, who should have been our William, is William III, King of England.

                      Novaya,

How is Theodora from the mid-1st Century? She lived in the 500s AD!

Firaxis score another great goal with the two Williams....

Like we are to be shocked that after earning a tad of dollars, after selling one expansion kit, just to sell us another, they get details upside down...

Well done Firaxis... you guys will never be able to sell to the PlayStation market.... for there is no opportunity to download corrections on those games... keep this crap up and your market will just walk.... come on lads, get your collective together, pull the old finger out, and get your act together.

I think bringing up this info will only change the discription of who they wrote about to be the same as the leaderhead

That's what I get for trying to translate into centuries. Yes. 6th century. Meh! She was uh, "mid-first milennium."

The other William is better looking, though.
