I'd make the pagoda walls white instead of red, to make it look like the castles of Japan.

As for the Soviets... the onion domes are getting a bit excessive, maybe only for the larger cities?

They all look OK in-game, as I selected the colour set-up
to co-operate with the civ nation flags and unit look.

Hey, but there is nothing to stop people tweaking them to what they wish!

Before I retire to my bed, here are some WW2 German cities...

I really like that one. One of the reasons is that there's a church in each one - in most modern cities it is forgotten I think. On the other hand, it may suggest the church playing a significant role in ww2 Germany...

The Japanese and Soviet cities also use religious buildings as a prominent identifier.

All I have to say about those graphics Curt is that you are leading the way into a renaissance in Civilization II graphics. Hopefully, many more will follow down the ToT path.

I used these features to denote culture more than religion.
Pepper pot towers are known in Russia, Pagodas are seen
in Japan and gothic cathedrals are a sight that is familiar
in Germany - Expect skyscrapers in the USA city set!

Curt, i love the touch of adding those flags draped over the sides of those buildings, looks very cool and realistic!

I would love to see a bombed out city look, if Steph or anyone got around to remaking Gotterdammurung then that would be quite cool to simulate the Allied bombing raids.
