I am making these cities available for anyone who wants them.
The really good ones are secret for now!
To convert to MGE:
All you have to do is save a suitable MGE palette, and then load that palette onto this image.
Mighty fine work Curt! I can't wait for your Red Front redux work.
Could I also use those cities for possible use in Freeciv?Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

Even if I use Photoshop and can't follow your instructions to the letter, I managed to get something (after some short struggle): thanks a lot!
EDIT: seems I could have avoided the effort! Let's compare my work to what rmsharpe did...
OK, only a small difference in colour, mine seems a bit lighter...
BTW: I noticed the same thing in my conversion: the "transparent" purple at the bottom became an opaque grey...Last edited by Cyrion; November 22, 2004, 18:22.Ankh-Morpork, we have an orangutan...

Favouredflight and Catfish deserve credit also for them.
There are elements from both these creators in the icons.
But I am sure they would be happy to see these cities used in Freeciv.

It doesn't always convert with the closest colours in the palette in paint. When you convert in PSP you can choose to convert with the closest colours matching, making it look better than a paint conversion.
You may not always see this with the naked eye, but if you zoom in, you'll see that some pixels get weird colour choices, becasue it may ecceed the scale of that certain colour in the MGE format conversion.Last edited by Eivind IV; November 23, 2004, 07:55.
