As amazing as it sounds those are Paratroopers. I have seen footage of them doing this during training exercises, only the plane I saw them train on looked very similar to a Conestoga wagon with wings. The entire top part of the mid fuselage was simply the planes inner frame work minus the sheetmetal. The whole thing is rather comical to watch.
