  • Ack! After a sixer of rolling rock and I don't know how many Windmer Bros. Hefeweizens I have come to a conclusion. I get more for the money when I buy Fat tire or Beltian White. (both are a belgian style beer, made in America w/higher alcohol content) Right now I barely have a buzz going.

    • The normal beers have about 5 % alcohol in them, but it isn't hard at all to find beers with about 12, 13 %. And you can buy them if you're 12.
So no fake ID's in here.

        What's your favorite brand, everyone?

We here in Belgium have the best beers you know.
err, the best beer is Kapsreiter, beer from a small brewery somewhere in austria.

i also have to confess that belgian beer is also very good, so keep on brewing!

        • Seriously, this topped thread is for folks to present their original unit graphic work from the WWII and post-war period. If anyone wants to talk about a scenario they're working on, then they should open a new thread to do that. If they want to talk about beer, then try OT, or better still, a pub.

After longer time here some new and modified units

Daily Danger has attached these units:

            1) sdkfz 222-12
            2) sdkfz 232-2
            3) sdkfz 234
You can use these armored vehicles as recon units.

            1) staghound, a british armored vehicles.
            2) Carrier SP 40mm Bofors on Morris C9/B Lorry. The British used this AA-unit for example in the Cyreneika.

            General Motors CCKW 352.

General Motors CCKW 353-1b. I modified these US-Trucks a little.

Studebaker US6. The Americans supply between 70.000 and 100.000 (!) of this trucks to the Red Army.
            Those are excellent DD

BTW, having spent a couple of weeks in the US now, I can definitively state that the world's worst beer is brewed here. Steaks are good though

Steaks are better here, as well as the beer!

                        • Here are some more units that I will most likely use in my upcoming alternate history scenario:

The sub is an I-400 carrier sub, first built by the Japanese in WW2 for bombing the West coast of the U.S. and the Panama Canal. Unfortunately for the Japanese Navy they didn't think of this one till the end of the war, where that whole "surprise! be scared of us, we're gonna invade!" thing just didn't work anymore. Supposedly, the Germans had the schematics for one of these behemoths...

The Arado E55 has a new paint job. I just wasn't happy with the old one.

For the landing barge I used one of Nemo's old units and spiffed it up. Can you see the tanks and the platoon of soldiers?

                          • P-38 Lightning

Probably one of the best fighters in WW2, in both theaters. I am definately going to gloat about this one.

I took one of the P-38s floating around the forum, extended the tail, expanded the engines, moved the cockpit back to where it should be, added the exhaust vents on the tail engines, removed the props, extended and enlarged the wings somewhat, and last but definately not least, I gave it a new paint job, true to form.

I got the specs here: http://p-38online.com/

                            Muhahahahaha!

                            • Why remove the props though, how is it supposed to fly?
