    i'm sorry for the problem

all the old forum files(which were taking a really big amount of space) were taken off-line, without me realising that they were still linked from somewhere

restoring some of them could take some time as we're talking about zip files of a few hundreds of mb's

in the meantime, i'm positive that lots of the linked threads of the GL(certainly except from the one being in the old forums archives which were not transferred) are in fact stored right now on the forums. it just needs for someone to search for them and update the GL...

Why do threads disappear in here and can anything be done to deal with it?

Couldn't anybody else rebuild the index if Scouses are out of time?

All the threads point to archives...

Don't know ig I'm right here but I read something in the Great Library Index about the settler building in the size1 capital. I think some question weren't answered or I'm blind.
The food box remains filled. The settler costs 1 shield and one food.
This tactic could also be quiet helpful in an occ. when u have an ironmountain near your city u can build two(even three when u have a mine on the mountain) settlers. That would be faster than waiting untill your food box is filled.

Another Trick with Settlers for Micromanagers. Whith the right timing, your cities will remain decreased for only the one turn when you build the settler. Multiply the size of your city with ten and you see, how much grain you need, so that the city grows within the next turn after you build your settler.

Forget about the stuff I wrote about the occ. It doesn't work. I Forgot about the support for thhe settlers, so it won't work.

Shaft, I suggest you to post this stuff to the Info: Settlers/Engineers (GL) thread.

                    • Could somebody please post a link to the original "Key Civ" thread. I saw this mentioned on CFC and I'm thinking that this information would be greatly appreciated by mod-pack/scenario creators to incorporate the fruits of your labour.

                      Thanks in anticipation

See also the "Cost of Research Explained" - a link goes from the GREAT LIBRARY INDEX.

Interesting, never read that thread before.

Has anyone checked if this is only in SP?
