Actually I mailed him the save a few minutes after he posted (using the Aoplyton mail feature thingie and then getting a reply, replying to the reply whit the save game).
So it shouldn't be long untill he posts.

and decisive leadership, so by the election of Poincare' a truly mathematic head is now in charge of the third republics future.

Government Change in Germany at Hand. Protectorate Ioanes gives stern warning to France. Russia given go-ahead to Balkans.

Germany and Austria this summer, has consulted with leading governmental inteligensia of Britain and America to install a four-to-five year plan to convert the Germanic nations into proper Democracies. This followed the signing of the Democratic Alliance with Britain. The change will start at the local levels of city, followed by provintial governments to a democratic form of governing. The last step then will be to set up the governors of each region as the first Senators in the national parliament, followed by regular elections every two years. A house of commons will be installed four years after.

Upon hearing the new upheaval in France, Germany stands by its previous warning to leave Germany alone. Commerce shall be tolerated, but any unit other than frieght entering into the borders of any German-Austrian city shall be regarded as a decleration of war.

Later in the day, Ioanes, after discussion with Alliance partner Great Britain, concurred to Russia's request in the Balkans, providing they not look greadily to cities already controlled by Germany and Britain. Should they wish to have such cities, a trade must be made, providing the locals are in favor.

hey Germany, you sent me the game as a net file. uh how am i suppose to play it as a net file? can i just change it to a .sav file to play it regularly or what?

well i switched it to a SAV file and put it in the Age of War directory, and when i try and load it, an error comes up and crashes civ2..........

In all PBEM games I've played the format is in .net. What you need to do, least you screw stuff up, is to start the game as a multi-player game-even if you're offline-and load a game via internet game option. Unless anyone else knows of a better way.'

Hopefully the game wont be delayed too long.

Ok well i now know how to load the game but hwen i try and load it to play my turn it crashes Civ2. So i'm gonna back-up the scenarios i'm playing now. Then Un-install it, delete all the files that are left, then re-install it. hopefully that'll fix it.

ps Henrik, can you send me that mail explaining how the pbem is to be run. I'm not entirely sure what to do once I receive the game file. Also any other hints on how diplomacy is to be carried out and how exchange of units, techs etc is to proceed
