The problem is not what I thought originally - the reason I get the end of turn message is because all units outside cities have disappeared. I carried on playing as the USA and the same thing applies - all units outside cities have disappeared.

Have you changed the scenario files your end? If not, could you humour me by re-raring you save and reposting, so I can have another go.

              TOO FAT TO FIGHT?

              Public Prefers Pancakes

The lack of decisive action in the Civil War may be making people fat, says a nutrition expert. Prof. F. E. Degree said lack of action was leading to overeating in the North. "Right now people seem to prefer eating to fighting. I'm worried about the long term health of our young people. They need to get off the couch and start killing people."

A faceless member of the General Staff confirmed the Army's intention to "do something" about the situation. "We just can't continue this way. The public seems to prefer apples to artillery, corn to cavalry and potatoes to the Potomac." He promised an action plan "within months.

General Beauregard emerged victorious from battle once again. "Fat Yankees make good targets" said the general. "Let 'em eat all the pancakes they want".

                  SHIPS SUNK!

                  WTF? asks President

Two warships were blown up by defensive fire from Confederate units defending the port of Edenton, this month, according to reliable reports. "It was unexpected, as only militia were defending. They just got lucky," said Secretary of the Navy Paz deBuck. The lost ships were the Alex the Great and the Captain Nemo. 257 survivors have been rescued by the Union navy. Several rebel militia units were blasted by Union cannon fire.

Hi G. Same problem as you experienced, in reverse. I get an unfinished CS move, and when I click enter, it's the CS turn again. Would you mind resending? Thanks.

Actually, it happened to me for your last turn; I opened your save and it was your go with Grant the active unit. Foolishly I thought you wanted me to see him! I exited your turn (ie I didn't end your turn - I exited the game) without moving units and the next turn was the CSA May turn, so I assumed all was well. I'm wondering if we need to go back 2 moves now, as things seem a little f-ed up.
