Nowadays it is highly recommended that Canadians carry passports when going to the U.S.. For very good reasons, the Americans are a mite twitchy. Mind you, after 9/11, we got a big laugh when the U.S. kneejerk reaction that 'the terrorists must have come in through Canada' turned out to be the usual hot air from the south.

P.S. Passports also help one get back into Canada with a minimum of kowtowing to customs officials.

I've been exploring your 'no attack on Pelagir' comment which was considerably different from my experience and it turns out sometimes the Mordor Allies - MofW Allies ceasefire doesn't breakdown causing most units of the Mordor Allies to be stuck up north.

I've embedded an aggression event which should fix that. Please apply the attached patch to the files you have (you'll need to run the save game through the delevent if you've started)

I haven't flown to the US with checked-in luggage lately but someone told me the US customs routinely busts open your luggage locks to check your contents. Could this be true?

Downloaded the patch but I haven't started yet. Next week'll be kinda busy for me, I got a whol book to read til next friday, then I'm gonna talk about it to some in the class.

I got a new problem. I can't build the Leonardo's Workshop anymore for some reason.

I've got the prerequisite right and in an earlier save I can still build it (using the same rules.txt) but in the current saves it just doesn't appear in the build options, even if prerequisite is set to nil. What gives?

Oh and I'm considering letting someone else research Entmoot. You will have to wait longer for it to happen even if it is set at maximum desirability but it means one less item to research for Men of the West. I'd like your opinion once you get past that part.

I destroyed the Ring, got rid of

that means the scenario scheme works. Did a little bit of rebalancing along the way and Gimli got killed but all in I'm pretty satisfied. Won't be long now...
