I know it's not my turn, but I have an announcement.

L'Empereur would like to state that we have no further ambitions in Germany, Italy, Spain, or indeed any part of civilized, Christian Europe. We've made peace with Prussia, and would like to do so with Austria and Britain as well. We will welcome trade with the United States by meeting their request on our next turn as well. We have invited Prussia and now invite Britain to a trilateral conference on the future fate of Hamburg. But, you see, I have a vision, a quest that will take me away from these enlightened lands. I will endeavor on a new Crusade to bring the light of civilization and Christianity to the barbarian, infidel Ottoman Empire. My military career and my power in France truly began at the Battle of the Pyramids, and to those parts must I return. I have had an audience with the Pope and secured his blessing on the matter. Now, I will raise my spear and charge to dispatch the Wolves at the Gates of Europe!

The 100% Holy Russian Empire fully supports the New Crusade on the muslim world.
After we finish our war in the baltic, we´ll start sending units to the south to help France.

We do not plan any threat to India or any other sovereign British dependency. Also remember, there will be no Grand Coalition to defeat me here, as there was forming when my eye was on Germany. I've made peace with Prussia, and I don't see how they'd have any interest defending the Ottomans. I've also courted the Austrians as allies in my Crusade, and now the Tsar has voiced his support. And, the United States has shown a distinct disinterst in Old World affairs. You'd be alone with an unapprciative and treacherous Turkish protectorate against us. I offer you the chance to graciously back down from your hardline position. Again, I assure you, I pose no danger to India. I don't wish another war with Britian.

If you do not want a war, then not a single French soldier must set foot upon Ottoman soil. To us, the current situation is far more preferable than an Ottoman Empire flying the tricolour of France. Although we would very much prefer to have allies on this issue, Britain is prepared, if need be, to go alone. The wealth of the orient will not be used by France for the conquest of Europe.

If France and Prussia go to war, Prussia will stay neutral because we shall suffer more than our British friends, I'm afraid.

The Prussian Western army has relaxed it's alertness due to the new peace with France. Shall we initiate discussions concerning Hamburg soon?

L'Empereur and the King of Prussia have agreed that Hamburg shall be ceded to the Prussian Crown as a trade centre only. If the British have any objections, please express them before Prussia's next turn, when they ratify the CivDip file (which is in the attached .zip file, Nilat). We also have the intention to sell our Caribbean colony of Haiti to the US, and have already struck a deal with the American President. Spanish forces have invaded our southern regions and will be destroyed next turn (we will not however, cross the Pyrenees, as we wish to preserve European peace).
