This has been Russian territory since time immomorial. Russian Engineers just finished a mine here, and intend to bring the minerals back to Russia.

Actually Blanco who played Britain at first is back. Maybe should ask him to retake Britain?

Please post whether you want to continue or quit this pbem. I'm indifferent at this point, and will respect both a yes and no.

Trade from Hannover arrives in Monterey and Phoenix.

Eivind, suares (19,43) and (21,43) are clearly Austro-Hungarian territory, as shown on this map:

Withdraw the troops from those squares, as they are clearly violating Austro-Hungarian sovereignty. Also, I'd like to re-iterate that Germany won't accept any Russian moves in the Balkans or Turkey.

Sorry, I won't. I've been using these squares long before you took over as Germany.

That's irrelevant as you are still in violation of Austro-Hungarian sovereignty. As the map above shows, your troops are clearly in foreign territory. Furthermore, (19,43) is a square that affects not only the security of Lemberg, but its growth as well. You are restricting that growth.

                      • Russia does not recognise Austrian sovereignty over this area. If you want to use this as a casus belli, be my guest. But for the interest of peace I'm willing to trade peace for German incorporation of Mosul. Apart from that there is no room for negotiation.

With all due respect, although the 'Russo-Japanese war' didn't go ahead, I thought that Germany was allowed to do that anyway as agreed prior to the date to which the war should have gone ahead (not Germany's problem).

Anyhow, maybe the other powers should take a look at the situation and vote on who they think has most need for the territories in question. In effect make use of the League of Nations idea.

Regardless, France will condemn any action to start a war given that there are other alternatives to resolve this matter.

                          • The thing is, these squares has been used by my cities since we began this scenario, and I have invested a lot of engineering mining the hills. Sorry, but I'm not giving them away. Period.

                            • You're on Austrian territory, regardless of whether or not you have built mines there at all. By your logic, if I were to catch someone here from the beginning of the scenario cheating, he would be justified in continuing to do so since he had done so from the beginning of the PBEM. Just because you have violated Austrian sovereignty since the beginning does not make it right, so withdraw. I have put up plenty of evidence proving that you have sent troops into my territory. If the situation were to be reversed, neither you nor anyone else would tolerate that, especially when you have troops just outside one of my cities hindering its growth. Sending your troops into another state's territory without permission is equivalent to a declaration of war.
