    Ok

    Thanks for playing anyways, Palaiologos.

Bostero, we now should decide who would play for the Axis, since we can't assign an AI player for them. Or can we?

Do you mind if I play for the Axis? That would mean that Axis would be allied with Allies now and attack Russia with joined forces. I think this would be a balancing move since you are well ahead in the game due to the caravans you used.

Or we could just start another game with only two players. I would prefer the first variant

palaiologos: sad to see you leaving. hope you are back someday.

@iseeall ok, take command of allies+axis. let see if joined forces can defeat USSR. sounds a good challenge

Bostero, since you haven't planned for a war vs Germany, I won't initiate a war for the next few turn, this would be fair, I suppose.

I would find it handy if Axis and Allies were now allowed to exchange techs (or just give them as gifts to each others), because they are now allied and should act as single nation. Do you mind this? This would double my research speed, so if you think this would disbalance the game, I won't do it..

Anyways, if we still prohibit tech gifting, I would have just to move all Axis units away from the cities and the capture them with Allied ones. This would cost some buildings but would greatly reduce corruption. Quite an unusual situation for Civ2, heh..

            Ok, ready.
Axis move forces away to Suez, Allies take it back.
Axis remove forces from France and Spain.
            North African cities freed, also.

            Here is the axis save..

                    • .. and the Allies save.
I think I will keep the war between Allies and Axis going to let Allies with democracy control the remote cities.

                        Lot of partisans died!!!!
roads destroyed, tile improvements looted, many pollution!!!
some paratroopers were launched in order to capture the isolated cities.

Amsterdam nuked, as well, for its colaboration with the allies.

                        • I guess without the Laser it is useless for me to play further...
I will see the save and will surrender if there is really no chance to win any more

                          • OK. complete surrender.
I looked at your save to find out that there are dozens of nukes in your western cities, so there is really no sense to play. Those cities you nuked were the backbone, each with 3-4 Mech infantries and will all buildings inside.

I still can't understand how you could make advances so fast. Where did you deliver all those caravans? In Kiel or Olso, or London? What for did you build Superhighways is some cities (with communism they don't increase trade).. Also, how did you build SO many units in just 5 or so turns, just bought all of them?

yep i used freights, while i was at peace. it was a good deal. i sent them most of them to London, many others to Berlin. capitals are always the best option. i was lucky that many cities demanded what i was supplying.

mmhh?? i think that they raise the trade number to already routes established. i'll check.

sure, trading ( lot of money ) and rushing. sometimes i disbanded some "obsoletes" units to get extra shields. it is hard to explain, you need to practice to get your own techniques. also there are several tutorials all around the web. but disbanding units is a very a good thing
