A fortified veteran airoplane scrambling to defend a city has an about 60%-70% chance of shooting down a veteran bomber.
SAMs, as in real life, don't give a bonus to the defending airoplanes cause that would imply shooting some of their own planes as well.
Btw dude i wouldn't open Bostero's saves again if i were you. Its called cheating.
