    Silence around Alexandria frightens me..

    Palaiologos, when you attack it, please post how many units you lose for each defender. I am interested in the statistics

      Russia experimented an attack on Suez using a cruise missile.

      1- mech. inf destroyed by the cruise missile. city was on hills. but we don't know if the mech was Veteran status.


      Infreaestructure made all over Russia.

        An Allied offensive near Oslo has been neutralized with the use of new Axis superweapons.

        Cruiser "Indomitable" has been sunk by Battleship "Bismarck" inside the newly established port of Cambridge on the Norwegian coast.
        Moreover a destroyer squadron was sunk on the eastern English coast after being spotted by german submarines.

        The Kriegsmarine estimates that the Royal Navy has ceased existing as a fighting force.

        Turkish goverment capitulates after an indeed pathetic ressistance.

              I just found out while experimenting that even if you add science by delivering caravans you can't make a discovery by that. As soon as the sci bar reaches the right side, excess flasks are lost, and the discovery is only made in the beginning of the next turn. This game is overloaded with "special rules" and patches for holes in game balance. I don't know why I still like civ2 so much. Maybe it's just nostalgy. I also never played multiplayer to see all these holes..

              So, in any MP or PBEM game caravans and spies should be banned completely or cost much more, because they are just too powerful. Say, 160 shields for a spy and 100 for Freight..

                Yes but the "extra" science points are not lost. Rather they are added to the next research project. So it is possible to have a tech rate of one per turn.


                Suez captured! More than 5 V-2 rockets were needed to take out the well entrenched defenders.

                Massive reinforcements will be needed to take Alexandria.

                An Expeditionary Corps under Von Leeb has landed in Norway. Already Cambridge was razed.

                        Bergen Liberated after a fierce ressistance.
                        Missile strikes from Stockholm were followed by a costly armoured assault;1 armor destroyed and another heavily damaged.


                        London bombed! The first attack on the English capitol was launched after nearly 3 years of war! Our missile strikes apparently hit random targets in the city doing little actual damage.
