    I am still on the case with Dalek, as I had to take a week off
    to deal with various happenings in that accursed real-life!

        I have a list of units that need some added, but I will post them soon.

        Right now, I am waiting on word back from two of my allies
        before I can make more progress on the city/unit placement!

        Getting more excited about Dalek as the fun section of development ensues!

          Things are going well, and I am getting ready to look at the events.

          I would like also to talk to Boco about converting the space ship
          to something else that can be built by the Dalels in a 'race against time'.

          If it is too tricky, I can just stick with the vanilla GFX...

              files for the spaceship screens and add your own images?

              I am looking to make the spaceship in a Dalek Superweapon,
              and was impressed how you changed the screens for AE...

              • Just got word from Tech on some advanced map trickery.

                So now it is time to batten down the hatches and get this thing going!

                Over this week and weelend, I am really going to conduct an 'operation typhoon'
                in order for get some movement on this scenario towards a beta!

                  Now I have the ToT map relations underway, (thanks to Tech) and my overhaul of the unit
                  graphics is also done. My next move is to create icons for the city improvements, then
                  it is time to begin placing 'city' areas on each map! This will lead up to a beta with
                  a few weeks all going well - I am really itching to get this one out to the SL, and tested...

                  This project has ran along a bit overtime, but the final result will be worth it, I think!

                  ...So stay tuned for more developments in the next days!

                      • Well, I am about to begin placing cities, so if I load up a save file,
                        and then make it into a scen file, the only thing I have to worry about
                        is the '@UNITS_ADVANCED' section?

                        I think I have all the map relations set for all the special units, so I am eager to go!

                        I might need some pointers from Boco on how to convert
                        the spaceship screen to a 'Time Destructor' super weapon!

                        Any hints, chaps?

                          • Most of the time, the spaceship must fit in a 253x240 gif. As it gets to the largest versions, the size increases to 400x283, but depending on the text, you may want to restrict it to 253x240 throughout. In EAv2, I've applied the KISS principal (which is unusual for that scenario ), and kept the modules and components transparent. Following the textual restrictions in Labels.txt can get tricky, but remember that you can always leave a line blank (i.e. a hard space [Alt-160]) and fill in the gap graphically. Unfortunately, some lines are shared with the city screen, etc.

                            Curt, why don't you send a mockup of your weapon via email? Maybe draw it on a layer atop of the largest vanilla spaceship that you want to use. It's easier to advise with something in front of me.

                            • I'm surprised Curt you needed to overhaul the unit graphics at all, the units in the Extermination alone were as top as the line as I've ever seen.
