How is that for a rough n'ready Babylonian Lamasu? This is just a low detail preview, so tell me if you d'like it with a lion or human head. There are a few other options you know...

Outstanding depth and contrast.Should the hue of the head and body differ? I'm pretty ignorant of this myth.

What kind of help are you looking for specifically? Unfortunately I can't help with the graphics part. Do you want ideas for the scenario or help with events mechanics?"If you are not confused by quantum physics, then you haven't really understood it." -Niels Bohr

Hmmm....is that ripped Phoenix from one of the Breath of Fire games? I recognize it from somewhere like that.

Thanks, it was not a big deal, really
(the pegasus aside)
Yes, the phoenix is from BoF, so is the roach i moded into a Scarab in this set.
Unless UDB has despaired and dropped off, I d'like to ask if he'd like it with the gold wings too (which look awkward, sprouting from the hind legs, mind you)
There was really huge roach in that game, however it is detailed in such a way that it can't be made into a convincing Scarab.
I slightly resized the Mummy
I went for the more bestial form of the Anunnaki
On more Wagneric grounds (ta tam ta ta ta tam), are the Valkyries supposed to be winged themselves, or do they ride flying steeds? Those steeds have wings?
No steed means more "exposure" btw
Doesn't the Lamia look too much like the Wadjet in the serpent aspect?"Whoever thinks freely, thinks well"

Geesh, if I ended playing a scen with that roach, I may end up swatting the screen!Very convincing.
I think you have a variety of interpretations of the Valkyries. Check out Wikipedia. I think the most traditional has them without wings riding wolves, but I suspect even that isn't solid. It seems to have evolved from a couple of sources. A Google image search shows a whole spectrum of riders and mounts, but it's heavily weighted toward the wet dream depictions.

@Alex Woehr: Mostly, I'm looking for advice on what to include, notably in terms of events, techs, and wonders. Any help would be great.
@Tanelorn: Wonderful units there! They'll find great use in my scenario. Thanks plenty!
Anyone know where to find Celtic units, Norse heroes, and kebenits? Still looking for those.
Back to you all later. I'm brewing some new ideas.
