  • Yeah, Rheinland is a tough nut. You could compromise history and just skip the DMZ of the Rheinland. Would be much easier.

    • Okay, it's been a while on this now, but with EotRS in it's next playtest, and the next version ready to go after adjusting for said playtest, I thought I'd continue with this one, especially given I have a new idea for it - or rather, them. You see, I'll do the Rise of the Third Reich as three scenarios: one from Feb 1933 to April 1940 on a map focusing on Central, Eastern, and Northern Europe; one from May 1940 to the war's end on a map of Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and the North Atlantic; and one about a German invasion of the Eastern and Central US and Canada (the latter hosting the British gov't-in-exile) and maybe Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, assuming victory in the first two. Each will have a different map, set of civ's, units, rules, icons, etc. I also think the SCW, Winter War, and Italo-Ethiopian War are all worthy of their own scens (the SCW has a few already), whether or not I personally do them, and add little, ultimately, to these scens. I think this choice can allow me to manage the complex civ and unit-swapping problems I've had. I also, in the future, when (and if) these scens are done, plan a fifth scen in my 'Axis Series,' after EotRS and my proposed three RotTR scens, but stay tuned for more on that.
