Just making this post so the thread doesn't drop off the bottom. Anytime you have a spare moment, Sarsstock, please post any ideas or graphics on the above post or any other thoughts. Also, when Steph is done that map, could you please post it. No pressure, though, I know you're busy and all.

Sorry for the delay, my Apolyton account was diabled for some bizzare reason and I was unable to post for the longest time.
Anyways, like I said I just don't think I'll have the time to contribute that much to this project. At the same time I do have one idea to add to the story. At the heart of this North American conflict could be the most precious resource on earth.... water.
In the future, severe drought has taken a massive toll on North America. Therefore, this conflict is essentially a "Water War", a war fought over the rights to resevoirs and rivers.
Of course these are just basic ideas, let me know what you think. Being an Albertan, I don't need to tell you how devastating a decade long drought can be.

Say, Sarsstock, I know you're very busy, but when you get a spare moment, could you possibly whip me up two more mixed flags? I need a mix of the Commonwealth flag you gave me a few weeks ago and the modern Portuguese flag, as well as a mix of (this may sound strange) the modern Ugandan and Zimbabwean flags. If you could do this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I'll get right on it. Now as for the gigamap of north america, I wouldn't count on Steph being able to finish it anytime soon. He's busy finishing up Okytobr, after that he'll be working on a scenario based on the fantastic Robert Harris book "Fatherland", then he is releasing the final version of Highway to Hell, and is planning a major update of Blood and Steel.

Congradulate Steph on his Herculean workload (mind you, I'm juggling a few scens currently myself). I look forward to seeing those flags, and feel free to add any more suggestions or graphics to the near-future North American scen. Thanks, as always!

Here's the first of the two flags. I have to admit, the Ugandan and Zimbabwean flags are a tough two flags to combine. Since they both combine coloured bars and stripes its hard to find a way to combine them so they don't just look like random misplaced bars of colour.

@Sarsstock, I've had the unfortunate tragedy of having to format and restore my computer without the luxury of being able to backup any data. It seems that when I came back to this thread, everything you'd attached (though not uploaded) has vanished, leaving an empty space. If it's possible for you to find the time (I'll gladly wait a while) could you please compile all your attachments on this thread to an uploaded bitmap file. If you could, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

They appear to be OK to me. Are you getting red 'X' s instead Patine? It sometimes happens to me with Poly. Try a cntrl-refresh.
