Sorry to double post, but I just remembered three more of those mixed flags I need (no rush, though): Indonesia-Philippines, Algeria-Libya, and the old (royalist) Iran-Afghanistan (as of 1965). I'm sorry to burden you, but I think that's mostly it. If you could do these last few, I'd be thrilled.

BTW, do you have any ideas for a hypothetical Western seccessionist flag?

Behold, the flag of Grand Alberta. It is essentially an elargment of the seal on the provincial flag of Alberta. Here we see regiments from the break away provinces taking up positions around the rail and highway hub of Winnipeg.

Meanwhile the RCAF provides air cover for advancing federalist forces with two CF-18 squadrons.

That's very cool! Can you get me that flag in a more easily manipulated format, please? And I'd be grateful if you could do the other above flags. (Really, the screenshot is great! Can you get me those units and that Canadian city style too?)

Suggestions for a Western seccessionist flag. This is based on things said by my pro-seccessionist uncle. First, instead of just expanding Alberta's symbolry, utilize symbolry from all four provinces (maybe, as the four focal symbols: the sun and mountains of Alberta and B.C., the grain of Alberta and Saskatchewan, and the Bison of Manitoba) and drop the British iconology. This may seem much, but I think the results could be well worth the efforts. Be creative!

Hmmm... I'll try to put together a flag that resembles the one you just described. You have a pro-seccessionist uncle you say? Are there allot others like him? I don't mean that in a mocking way, I'm just curious if there is a great apetite for Seccession west of Ontario. I realize Harper's election loss has made allot of Westerners feel isolated from Ottowa.

The impresion this Ontarian has always gotten from the western seccesionists was that they were few in numbers, nowhere near as many as there are succesionists in Quebec.

Also, I'll post those last three combination flags shortly. After that I will post my collection of flags of the world, that way people can just pick any that they like if they enjoy my flag style.

Allrighty, so here we have the old pre revolutionary Iranian flag with the old Afghan flag, the Algerian and Libyan flag, and the Philippino and Indonesian flag.

I had to use a different scheme as you notice to blend the Philippino flag and Indonesian flag. Hope you enjoy, next up shall be the new design for Grand Alberta's flag.

Thanks for the flags! Please, though, don't forget the Hun banner (Gagliaudo says he wants it too), but no rush on that. As for seccessionism in the West, to be honest, of all my friends, family, and acquatances, only said uncle and one of my Mother's co-workers has actually stated they are pro-seccessionist (though I saw an older man on the bus wearing a 'Republic of Alberta' cap, but I never talked to him), and that acquaintance of my Mother belongs to a Western Separation Party, though it still seems to be a marginal fringe party with no seats, federally or provincially, and wasn't on my riding's ballot. Thus, the sentiment does seem to be rare but extant, though I fear it may grow.

Okay, here is the flag of the Huns. As for seccessionism, I've seen news clips dating back to the Trudeau era of pro-independance parties out West. It really makes you wonder then what on earth is keeping this country together? I mean with an angry population in the maritimes, a resentfull francophone community in Quebec, and westerners who don't think Ottawa
represents them fairly, one has to wonder what can keep this country together.

Oh well, we obviously both love this country and I guess all we can do is hope cooler heads prevail.

Thanks for the Huns flag! I too, as a note, sometimes wonder how our nation stays in one piece, though a lot of Canadians in all parts of the country do express their love of and loyalty to this nation.

BTW, I don't mean to be a pest, but could I ask one more mixed flag: a Lebonese-Iranian (Islamic Republic this time) one (it appears in the same scenario as the royal Iranian-Afghan flag, which deals with, among other things, the Iranian Revolution). Thanks, as always!

Hoo boy! Sarstock, can I have one of those Canuck infantry in the screenshot? And perhaps the Indonesian, Fillipino, and Algerian flags seperate too?

Some flag requests of my own too, if you don't mind:

                      - NATO

                      - CIS

                      - Arab League

                      - APEC

                      - Pakistan

                      - India

My guess is that Typhoon is planning a remake of Raging Dragon by Case, on a count Tom and I are working on the very same project. Which is why I have each one of those flags already. In fact, it was that scenario that got me into flag designing.

Now here are some unit shields that again I forgot to attach to the other flags. I didn't lable which shield belongs to which civ, I think you should be able to match them up.

Finally here is the Canadian infantry unit, I can't take credit for the brilliant pose however, I only recoloured the uniform to match the Canadian computer generated camoflage pattern.
