  • Those are some good pointers.

    Thanks, chaps!

Yep, I am working to make the balance of civvie and military choices a tough one to play.

    PS
    Here are the completed icons.

This will allow you to set up industrial regions for each civ. Of course you can rush-build, but if you set up your economic model well (one aspect is expensive maintenance of important improvements), funds for rush-building units should be hard to come by.
That certainly is an effective strategy. However, it does make sending units out on suicide pillaging missions extreamly profitable, so if you use it, place all the mined squares in safe positons, and don't include paratropers or ignore ZOC units.

          • Worry not, rmsharpe!

I'm working on the tech tree as we speak!

Icons, and city graphics now complete, soon rules will be done too.

Graphically, things are looking good, and the balance will mean a fun warfare and imperial-power-mongering scenario!

Just had some full-length animations to do for university, featuring modelled WW2-era war machines, of course!

Here's a screenie of the madness!

                            • Did I ever mention Curt that I think your tech tree's are the most imaginative that I've ever seen? Looks like it will just as good this time around.
