FYI, I believe The Institute offers a remedial course in Turnlog Writing...
What would you say if I asked anyone to write his next log in french?
(what happened is that I wrote my log on a sheet of paper that I lost before having posted, ... keep quiet though: I know I should use Notepad or the like )

duke o'york: Unblocking commodities is an art, but does not necessarily require terrain mod or city movement. If any of the three commodities is not listed in the Trade Routes, it can be unblocked. Keeping it unblocked just requires delivery to a city that will not disturb one of the existing routes. See Solo's Early Landing Guide for the details, but the fundamental technique for OCC play is called "Wonder Bread" (make a food caravan, switch to any Wonder, "cash in" the food, if the unblocking is successful switch back to caravan and RushBuy as necessary to complete same turn).
Re-homing caravans is considered a cheat, but bribing one is OK? Presumably this will re-home it, unless it becomes a NONE? Is it OK to re-home a food caravan if you want to use it to build a wonder you don't have the tech for yet and the city supporting it is about to be captured (i.e. no attempt to gain an improper advantage)? Is it worth paying 450 gold for a caravan anyway?
