OK, we're committed so let's see how it goes.

I like that idea especially since it helps our REXing and slaving but honestly we should consider building the pyramids first especially if we have any stone nearby as it will help our specialist economy. After we've started REXing then the hanging gardens are great as that way we get more free citizens and will actually need the extra happiness.

    • Mids in competitive MP... we have better uses for hammers. Though, is anyone IND in this game? At least there will be a fairly even field in terms of wonders if we do go for them. But since mzprox only does a moderate specialist economy, I doubt Mids will pay off enough.

      • I would bet that the epic debate currently raging in the CFC team forum is about whether to pick an IND leader or not.

        • My bet also. For them, it's probably too good of an opportunity even if it doesn't suit their playstyle so much (I think 2metra and Sommers weren't big on either in any game I've played with them). Hey, if it holds them back from doing what they're good at - settling tons of cities and fighting - all the better.

            • Yeah, I bet that is the delay. No one else has an industrious leader so some of them want to pick industrious and others want to do what they always do.

              • Well, seems we know one side of it now, and looks like Sommers won against whoever he was debating. Expect him to abuse his victory to the upmost to prove its validity in this game. Let's try to avoid fighting CFC if possible...

And if CFC wants to use us as their ESP "host"? What do/can we do?

                • I'm sorry but what does ESP stand for and why does it need a host? Dumb question but I'm drawing a blank.

                  • ESP = espionage

And targeting all or almost all their esp points at us. To steal tech or disrupt us.

                    • Yeah, it's espionage. Basically, they run an economy by spending all their ESP (running at like 60-80% ESP as though it were science) on one advanced economy and steal techs from that civ instead of teching themselves. Basically, they're an ESP parasite on a "host" tech leader.

                      • So why should we shirk from war? Our advantage is going to be tech, so if they try that against us, we should crush them.

Pretty amazing that no one has picked Huayna Capac. I always thought he was a favorite (and not just because of Inca). I guess we are all going to end up with an even shot at wonders in this game. Outstanding.

Interesting that nooe picked ind leader. we can ssume that none of the civs will have stone/marble in reach, we will see if there are any and if we could connect them. If we can we can try to go aftersome classical wonders.
