Time to Pick a Leader & Civ

I do think we ought to reconsider Aztecs if we get Liz and the top choices (seem to be India/Inca) get taken. mzprox has a way with whipping in the mid and late game that would benefit more from their UB than any other civ's.

I agree with that. Aztecs definitely deserve another look. But we'll see who is left when we get down there.

Ok the second team have chosen Inca.

Team GWT (civforum.de) voted for the Inca Empire as our Civ

So we choose Liz or India.

Though I have stated my prefs as Liz first and then India, I could be persuaded to choose India first and debate a leader closer to the next decision time.

However I am perfectively content with Liz but just a little concerned 12 turns after others have chosen and it is our turn again our civ choices may be more limited and less to our liking.

I honestly expect most of the other players to go with leaders who give them combat bonuses. I expect by the time the second round comes around India will already be taken so the Aztecs get my vote if India in no longer available. The cheap courthouses give them the edge.

Good that we got Lizzy , after some toughts I'd had prefered India first, but anyway, we can find 9 civs which we could be content with. Even England is not a bad civ for example.

with barbs on I'm not sure about the aztecs anymore. I believe we should choose a civ with warrior and better starting techs, but we have time to think about it.

Cool. Yeah, with Inca already picked and India not likely too far behind, I'm thinking Aztecs are going to be our pick by the time it comes back. India's too good to be put off until near last, but Aztecs might just get overlooked...
