that is very strange... I can connect to all my other diplogames. what could be the cause of me not accessing this particular game?

No idea. Someone should pause the game before it flips if you can't figure it out. Or I can sub for you if you want, but I too require at least one hour pause to get home in time.

From few months already Robert's server(s) have some new feature (firewall, policy or whatever) which deny me connection too if I try to connect from work. Behind the corporate routers, there is something that prevents peer-to-peer connection of the type pitboss require.

So India, if you are trying to connect from a new location (i.e. not the one which you usually use) this may be the problem. Try another internet place?

Even if India won't ask for pause, I do. Need a pause in one hour. If there won't be pause then the game will have to be reloaded.

this is really really really weird.

I am currently also playing in Destruction of Foes game which is on server: plomp.eu:2065, I have no problem connecting to host there. but on plomp.eu:2062, which is the server for this game I time out when trying to contact host. This is a pure mystery. Robert, do you have any ideas?

I recently opened a port on my router for another game, but I do not see how that should have any effect whatsoever as it has not affected my other direct-ip connected civ games. anyone?

Just so it doesn't get lost: I require a reload. I pause the game too, no need to let it go.
reasons:
-India has lost his turn and they are at war
-because of that I too got into a much worse position.

or more seriously, this is a total mystery. I have made some changes to my game by getting some new mods, but they should not be running while I run the Destiny of Empires mod... I also made a change to make the mod run better, namely that windows should run civ as admin, but I don't see how any of those things should affect the login to Robert's server. it is just plain mysterious...

India has asked me to try to log in, I could without problem. I can sub too if asked. Still no idea why India can't log in.
