I really miss France and Neandor's stories

Yeah, sorry about this. Since June I've been involved in a major database project that was meant to be completed by June 30 but it has been so successful it has been taken up by another organisation and I'm flat chat till Xmas with much travel as well! I'm playing many of my turns (using a sub for some turns if unable to connect or no time); I am a bit active with PM's, skimming the threads but no time for stories in the thread.

I suppose the lack of an active leader for the ACE "counter-alliance" would mean that the rest of the alliance is trying to keep their heads down.

Yes - my bad. Sorry. The late summer has been a really busy time, especially since mt father-in-law, age 95 has been in the hospital for the last 5 or 6 weeks. My wife and I have been very busy with him, and my mother-in-law (sigh .....), who has been a pill through all this. I've been getting my turns in and following the game, but that is about it.

I know King Veneta of Neandor has been very busy with RL work. We have stayed in touch, but just haven't had much time for stories, or diplomacy.

Hopefully things will improve over the next while.

But my quick two cents worth would be that India's razing of Chinese cities is not out-of-line with the general character of this game.

And I do find the Russia bloc a bit daunting, and yes even discouraging at times. And I am truly disappointed with some of the civs who could have balanced the world situation over the last while and did diddly squat.

Game on. Keep on civin.

Sounds like the right thing to do.

We have a sub? The game is paused.
Then things are quite simple, I just kick current china, and then the sub can (while the game is still paused!!!!) login and set a new password for China. Because it happens while the game is paused, the AI won't perform any actions after the current player has been kicked.

Please let me know if that's what needs to be done, then I'll do it tomorrow morning, 7 hours from now. (more or less)

The sub can now login and reset the password.
After that the game can be unpaused. (by China, if he has no diplo pop-ups)

I never got an answer from China, btw.
