If that's still not going to work we need to find another solution.
Perhaps someone else can sub for you for at least 1 turn. Maybe you can ask someone who's available a lot. Just tell him what he should do. It can't be much at this stage of the game.

If you contact one of the guys from America (in-game America) it shouldn't be a problem b/c they're not going to be involved with Arabia in the next 3000 years anyway

My apologies to all the players of the game for this holdup, but hope you understand my position considering most of this developed while I was away for work.

We may want to entertain the concept that whenever war breaks out, any parties involved can request turn slow downs with the longest request taking precedence. It is the only way to make it fair.

Works a pain isn't it - just imagine how much civ you could play without it!

On the slow down, that is standard procedure already. Anyone about to enter or in a war can request the timer extended, not only to ensure people don't miss their turns, but also to allow enough time for turn order to be preserved.

Yeah, 24 hours is absolutely 'given' when requested. And from now on I'll do it automatically.
We just had many miscommunications. It's important to read and communicate very carefully in these circumstances. But we got through it, thanks for that!

Sorry for being a dumbass, but somehow when I upload my image as an attachment (by using "go advanced" and then "manage my attachments" and then uploading it, and then selecting it and clicking "insert inline"), it then displays it as a tiny image, like a thumbnail. I now uploaded it to imageshack instead, and then it displays it at the normal size. What am I doing wrong?

No but they are - they finished turn 45 minutes after logging in, after he started blocking me - so he must have been at his computer then - and then he finishes his next turn 1 minute after the turn flips, so he must have been at his computer then!

(I'm not implying anything deliberate - unless i find Arabia has just invaded me! - I'm just frustrated!)
