The cultural influence seems wierd. I can't see how that can happen, if we have exclued things like city gifting (which converts culture) and use of great Artists. There have been one or two wierd happenings - is it in the same sumerian triangle to where your worker disappeared long ago?Comment

Please could you take a look at the last few saves, if you are really out of the game, to see if you can find a logical reason for this strange tile switch?
It is in the same area as I lost a worker for no reason some time ago, that could have been an error on my part anyway, but still must be a bug of some kind. I can fight culture or armies but not losing tiles just because the game decides to change ownership of them at random.

Strider and the Gondorian Democracy have now ratified the security pact of the NON-ALIGNED nations of Mongolia, Gondor and Sumeria by signing a Defensive Pact. If any of the three nations is attacked the others will come to their defence.
Other nations should not see this as a threat. In fact quite the opposite. This pact forces defence, not aggression. Some of the pact members were considering military action based on fear but with defence security war is less likely.
Factors that influenced the decision:
* Spy reports that ancient friend Rome was working with Egypt (not verified and not believed by Strider)
* The absence of Russia's Foreign Minister in Gondor
* The consequences of standing alone at this precarious moment in history
* A turnaround in the relations with Sumeria that was reminiscent of ancient friendships
* Excellent support from Mongolia and the agreement for the spread of Mining Inc
* Spread of Mining Inc in Sumeria
The representative from the city state of Mount Doom, Sauron argued vehemently against the pact. He wanted absolute independence for Gondor.
The influential Strider, as always swayed the majority of the city states.Comment

Non-aligned.. what a joke.. Gondor has always aligned herself to someone else. There is one true non aligned nation in the world, and that is Egypt. We stand alone with our ideology which is unfortunately not yet understood, but maybe in time it will be..

Yes, I too am surprised at this result. The representative from Rohan expressed concern over the lack of defence in Antium despite eons of hostility between Rome and Egypt. Apparently Rohan reps were also talking to some other nations who expressed concern over the possibility of Rome 'working' with Egypt. As far as I'm concerned I remain trusting of the lineage of Rangers who built a strong friendship with Augustus line.
I am sure that with some diplomacy, less reclusiveness and contact with Sumeria and Mongolia Rome could be included. I suggest you move your troops to Antium and Gilgamesh may also move Southerly.
I appreciate your trust in Gondor and will not fail you in that.

The Hindus of Hindustan commanding merely 682 votes, several hundreds short of anything which would be needed to bring about a victory.
Maybe now the nations of the world would begin to believe the great deception of the Desert Lord, who was left to rape and pillage Hindustan, finally extorting huge numbers of troops to bolster his armies, because nations were tricked into fearing a hindustan domination which, these figures demonstrate, was always complete fiction.Comment
