Egypt never lies, these are facts:

-In the last vote the world has almost fallen into darkness saved by 8 votes.
-since then 3 Babylonian cities (we know of) have been converted
-a few decades ago Babylonians adopted the technology of Biology, their fanatic population is increasing rapidly.

-It is true that there would be no imediate danger of DV if we would just give back the cities, but only because we acted when we had to, stopped their galleons to carry even more missionary to the new world and as an unfortunate side effect of the war we reduced the population of some of their cities.
-_But_ the danger is still there...

Babylonians talk about bravery and honour.. like if thew knew what is that.. those who backstabbed us when we fought our defensive war against the invading Romans, those who exterminated the peacefull and defenseless celts, absorbed all their lands so they could become so large that they almost managed to consume the whole world.. My only regret is that we haven't acted then.. but we thought it wouldnt be fair to intervene in that war..we pay the price now..

Yet we wish peace.. it will be hard I can see that..we don't really want to continue our war.. some may say we couldnt even if we wanted.. -let everyone believe what they want- The world has acknowledged our aims in this war already-we grateful for that.. I hope they are grateful too for what we have done. The world did not want to contribute in the fight against this religious terror when we had the chance to solve the problem peacefully.. (we have asked them to do something as we did)
...maybe they would contribute to help to end this war, by making sacrifices themselves... They don't want to see Egypt keeping all the cities they conquered(not that Egypt ever intended to do so..) or even continue the war.. yet this war has cost too much for Egypt..and continue to cost a lot..so giving up everything just for nothing can not be an option..
So what I'm suggesting is this: if the world leaders care about the outcome of this war maybe they could do offerings themselves to make the peace negotiations easier.

A nation, unknown as yet but high suspect identified, has chosen to attempt mass murder upon the innocent residents of major Sumerian cities by introducing toxins into their water supplies.

This is a hideous crime. A crime for which forgiveness can never be considered. Murderous Scum, we will track you down and you will be punished!

The real question that all Sumerians ask is why? A peaceful nation with no enemies, save for the vile creatures of the far west, has no part to play in the games of the mighty who surround her.

Fight your wars if you wish my friends but leave Sumeria out of them! A small agricultural nation has no place at your table. Let us grow our corm and wheat in peace and seek not to drag us into wars.

My Lords. The Egyptian southern army has been destroyed. A huge number of Egyptian machine gun battalions, infantry divisions and catapults had taken up defensive positions in the hills around the captured Hindu city of Borsippa, protecting the the Egyptian extermination sqauds extermination or shipping off to camps in Egypt any who expressed support for their ancestral religion in this one of the oldest of all Hindu cities.

They are no more.

The Hindu people rose up, led in person by me as the appointed Messianic Warrior and the Gods' Vengeance against Egypt, and destroyed the wicked invaders. The people of Borsippa to a man rose against them supporting out armies. The gods were with us. Aside from canonry, our losses were one sixth of the Egyptian losses.

The Egyptian land forces are destroyed. The northern army a decade again; the southern army now. The original marine army destroyed or dispearsed to subjugate our islands. They now barely have sufficent to mount a mininal defence of their own borders.

The fight back has begun. One ancient native Hindu city has been regained. Six more to go.

You continue to spin your lies. The reason that there is no possibility of a Hindu DV has nothing to do with your extermination of our people. The reason is that in recent years you have energetically spread Hinduism among your people. That peaceful action, which the Great Conclave rejoiced to see, is the reason why Hinduism is no longer concentrated in Hindustan. The recent public votes for chairmanship of the Great Conclave demonstrate this. Your own votes have doubled from 100 to 200 in 20 years. If you were truely worried about Hindu dominance, that itself would be sufficent. But you are not, you wish to bully the nations around you and are outraged that anyone should stand independent from you.

We appreciate the fact that you lied to the nations of the world, and seek to continue to support those lies. For otherwise nations would see that your invasion of us was purely out of spite because we would not support you war against Rome, and would not give you all our money and great people to support your rush towards nuclear weapons to use against Russia.

Not long ago you were threatening the nations of the world that if they developed mass media you would destroy them in nuclear war, and that if they stood up for the Hindu people as you exterminated them, you would give Hindustan multiple ethnic Egyptian cities so as to force a Hindu DV. If I pause now, Babylon has no chance to play, but I'm not going to wait myself b/c I also need to sleep
So I'm going to pause anyway, Babylon gets a new chance tomorrow, about 7 hours from now I'll restart the server.

At the moment work is very busy, and the only real chance I have to play is evening time here, which is when I have played the last three or four turns. Unfortunately, somehow the timer we are on though is always turning over overnight, so we are already down to the last six hours or so by the time it is evening here and I have a chance to play. I realise this is a mess for Egypt.

Fully understand why it has been paused, but of course now is the time when I can play, and I can't! I will try to sort things so I can play early in the morning here - about 7/8 hours from now. That should work, I think given what RP has just said if I have the time zone's right. If that then puts us on a sequence in which the turns turn over more like midday here, then I will be able to play in the first 10/12 hours of the 24 hour period which should be better for us all.

I can play in the next 1, 1,5 hour.
We can't ensure that the turn over will stay where it was, the only way to make this work is if you are able to play in two different times(morning, evening), or else we should put it to 36 hours. I need at least ten hours on the timer to be sure I can make my turn. (not 3 like last time)
