New type of diplo game

As there is a new government in Maya I will accept Cease-Fire.

I hope that my logging in again is not taken as a double move, I know it is not against the rules anyway, as I merely do it to accept the Cease-Fire and block further troop movements which were pre-plotted.

As a gesture of goodwill I have offered Maya Open Borders, a number of commodities for free and will help in the reconstruction of their infrastructure as little now remains.

Rome and Egypt are in an ongoing cold-war. No action is happening except that Egyptian Maceman in my territory. If he promises to not abuse a double move to harm me with that mace, I am ok with the timer going back to normal.

Rome and Egypt seem to be the quickest on average to play their turns so I think a shorter timer is OK, maybe somewhere between 10 and 18 hours... 14

I won't move with that maceman, shorter turns are fine. But if the cold war starts to be hot we need to go back to longer timer.

I thought this would be a very funny diplogame with much more in common with a normal kill or be killed. Strange game it still remains but the diplo has been great and PYT has been an amazing addition for secret talks.

Great to see WarningU2 join prepared to take on the lowest ranked Civ.

Greatest of all is that we have not had a single dispute! No 'double moves' even though they are legal. Your comment at the start that we are 'With good diplo players we expect a game with integrity and common sense' seems to have been the result.

Definitely a very good player list with even the lower ranked players playing their turns and joining in the diplo.

I will be away for about a week from about 17 hours from now and have no access to a computer and need a sub urgently. I will pm Ozzy with my details, maybe he can do it, if not possibly he can pass my details including password onto a sub who is willing to do it. Game is getting interesting and I no longer want any player already in this game to sub for me.

I will be leaving within an hour and be away for about 6 days. I have pm'd Ozzy with details, can someone outside the game please sub for me, the game is at a stage where I do not wish to use an ingame player as a sub although there are 2 players willing to do that. Contact Ozzy through pm for details, Ozzy has not yet responded to pm, so potentially he can do it himself, I do not know.

Rome is attacking again, has some units already in my territory so I don't want to double move, but soon I'll have to leave to work. If I can't make my turn before leaving (in an hour) I will need at least two extra hours-pause because I won't be back until the timer expires. And from now on we should get back to 18h.
