  • Lone Horn continued on his voyage of exploration, when suddenly close to a shore he spotted a strange looking native wearing a skullcap topped with a row of neat trimmed feathers and sitting in one of those carriages that he had first seen the Korean’s riding in.

The clothing round his loins was not that different from his own bar that the color was a cross between silver and ant red and sea blue.

He hailed the rider but all he could make out in response was something that sounded like ‘Amo, Amas, Amat.’

Nevertheless, the native seemed friendly. So Lone Horn dug out another Peace pipe in expectation of another welcoming feast.

Meanwhile at home in Dakota, ‘Crazy Horse’ was making a name for himself. He managed to corral some 30 wild horses and tame them all single-handed. All the squaws cheered and clapped and danced round his tipee.

The Elders cheered too but afterwards in the council tipee they discussed what to do about the cult of the new ‘Sun Dance’ that was spreading down from the northern territories.

This new cult spoke of a ‘Sun Tao’ god, and spoke of times before time and the story sounded familiar to the stories of the Sioux. Sitting Bull summoned a full council to discuss this new situation

    • Korzan history

The old ancient history books of Korzan show that the trek across the Western Continent was one of the longest expeditions ever undertaken.

Centuries after it began the trek had only made it as far as the northern areas of the Red Cross peoples. It was a vast continent.

The Red Cross people had lots of land under there control and had met many other peoples. The trekkers encountered some of these as they travelled inside the REDcross citys.

Each trekker married a local girl and had children to them and then passed on their trekkers mantle to their eldest child.

Their other offspring were sent back to Korzan to help grow the cities back home

Back home the lands of Korzan were visited by many passing sail ships over the centuries. One such ship bore friendly people from India. They offered gifts and knowledge. But when the Governors gathered to learn of this knowledge, the Indians said they would not trade for the knowledge but it was for sale only. small cost of a Voucher. The governors were not used to this type of deal and said no. They believed to form strong ties then trading was necessary as it grew trust.

      • Chiel Weekly:

Christian Byzantine missionaries have been spotted approaching from the north, soon celebrations will start.

Clandint accepts Rome’s apology. He hopes that both leaders will come to a mutual understanding.

Korzan scouts continue to traverse our lands, warm curious people indeed.

Native’s boat has sailed in to the west away from our lands. They are welcomed back if they decide to return this way.

Cladint has decided to follow his northern Byzantine brothers becoming the first King of England. Monarchy will soon be adopted. Same religion & same government form the right direction of close relations with the Byzantines.

(We ask our friends from the north to send south more of their missionaries when possible. In order to convert to Christianity 2/3 of English cities need to adopt the same religion.)

Rumors have it that a local lord has undertaken upon himself and his city the building of a magnificent bulding.

        • Wise Hor-Aha, Ruler of Egypt,

There does appear to have been a breakdown in communication between our nations. The period before I became King was a difficult period in Byzantine history - the war against the Greeks, the martyrdom of Constantine defending the women and children of Antioch, and the period of the rule of the Council of Chiefs. It seems that during that period regretable misunderstandings grew up between us. I can only reiterate that nobody in Byzantium believed that there had been any discussion of those plains - the only discussions being over the land surrounding the great lake to the south.

We value our friendship with our neighbours, and fellow believers to the East.

I greatly hope that we can put this incident behind us, and work together for our mutual prosperity. Along with this message pleased find a selection of amphora containing wine from Antioch for your pleasure and as a sign of our friendship.

They were very open to these teachings and Vijay was convinced that very soon all incan would worship Sha'tur and even the government must accept Tao as the only religion.

A few weeks earlier the expedition has reached the border of Byzantium. Vijay has sent a letter to their leader and waited their answer if they are allowed to enter their land.

            Greetings people of Byzantium,

We are travelers from the far India. Please allow our traders and diplomats to enter your land and establish trade and diplomatic relations with you. Our missionaries also can't wait the opportunity to introduce our God to your people. We are certain that soon you will all see that only the way of Tao leads to enlightment and you will join us in our quest to protect our souls from the forces of darkness.

Priest Vijay, in the name of our king, Kalidas the First

            other subjects:
We Indians would like to thank the people of Korea for allowing our ships to enter their coast. Our trade is already fruitfull. We are sorry that it seems there was a misunderstanding in our trade proposal, we have offered you something for free, we cant really get what is this voucher, but we certanly wouldnt get any such a thing from you.. but you may lose one.. from those " we have no idea what it is thing". anyway, maybe an other time then.

For some time now we also have great trade relations with Egypt, We hope we can send a delegat of diplomats and missionaries to you too soon.

                Ecbatana was saved!
                The scouts sacrificed their lives.
                Hastog had accepted their sacrifice.
                The barbarian axemen were tempted,
                and couldn't withstand the urge
                to kill the scouts.

This gave the Persian armies enough time
                to move to Ecbatana
                and defend the city.

The sacrifice of the scouts would never
                never ever
                be forgotten!
For the ages to come the Persians would
celebrate the feast of the Sacrificed Scouts.

                Every year 5 young boys
                And 5 young girls
                Would be sacrificed to Hastog
                To celebrate this event.

An honour to the family of the sacrificed.

-From the High Priestess of Hastog the Hairy

I have heard of the courageous sacrifice made by your scouts to save your people and it is truly a great offering to our common deity, the Fallen One. We will honor them in our prayers and sacrifices.

However, in the spirit of Hastog I must demand that you immediately cease the sacrifices of children! A failure to do so will cause a massive rift between those who worship The Hairiness, and those who worship the Fatness. Hastog the Fallen, divine master of the underworld is no deity of peace or squeamishness. Yet neither is he a bloodthirsty monster. His dues must be payed, but never has he demanded the blood of innocents for no reason. Does not the Lord of the Underworld have enough souls in his realm? Will not those same souls come to him in their due time!? Need I remind you that Hastog stayed his hand against those who chose to not stand against him. By the deeds of Hastog, blood should only be spilt for good causes, not unnecessarily to display the power of clergy! I have sent copies of this letter to all the congregations of Hairy and Fat Hastogianism, and I am certain that their leaders, Guru's and Priestesses will agree with me that unneeded sacrifice of innocents is nothing short of an abomination in the eyes of Hastog.

                    • Κύριλλος (Cyril) led his band of monks deep into English lands, encouraged by the welcome they had received from Clandint King of the People of the Red Cross. They were often overcome with sadness as they travelled, seeing that the people knew nothing of the truth faith, knew nothing of God's Messiah. But they saw hope at every turn - these were the people of the Red Cross - there was no doubt that God had prepared these people to embrace the true faith.

On they travelled. Often the monks asked Κύριλλος why they were not stopping to establish a church here, among the people they saw around them who were like sheep without a shepherd. But Κύριλλος' intructions from the abbot of his monastery weighed heaviliy on his mind.

"The gospel says 'Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God'. These were the words the Martyr Constantine inscribed in the ancient temple when he was about to set off to the Incan people before the Greek affair. These are to be your watchword."

"The poor" Κύριλλος would mumble as he walked. "We will go to the poor, and the poor are found on the edges of empire, far from the centres of power. Others after us can go to the rich, we will seek the poor"

So on they travelled in the sparse jungle lands, until, one day at dawn, unheralded, a group of English soliders surrounded their camp. Κύριλλος was woken and came to speak with the English officer. The conversation went on, initially the monks showing only a passing interest, but gradually they saw the converstaion becoming more heated, and they were shocked when they heard Κύριλλος shouting - apparently shouting "spy!".

Κύριλλος gathered the monks, under the watchful gaze of the English soliders. "My brethren, this English officer (Canute is his name) accuses us of being spies, mapping out the land of the Red Cross with evil intent". The monks protested; Κύριλλος held up his hand for silence. "I know, I know. But I am sure God has sent this man for a purpose. For now we must accompany these soliders to the borders of English lands, but they have guarentted we will not harmed. Meanwhile, Canute has agreed to send a messanger to Clandint carrying a letter from me, explaining out situation and asking his permission to continue our travels, or indeed for him to give us land in one of his cities for us to establish a church. We will travel, pray and await Clandint's answer".

                      • All Tawantin Suyu weeps this sad and sorrowful day. My Beloved Father, Greatest in the Eye of Wiraqocha, has left to join him in the Eternal Sun. Many wonderful things did my Father achieve in his spell upon this World of mortal men but his Glory will ever be remembered when any should’st cast their eyes upon Heaven and see Wiraqocha above us all. Rocks he moved, Great Monuments did he hath cause be built but to Quechua he gave mere Terraces to plant crops and Markets that they might trade their wares. These fine Monuments to his Glory mean far more than any grand statue to the common folk of Tawantin Suyu.

He taught our young men to fight upon strange beasts that were far larger than llama and tasted ill to their palate. He gave them weapons of a strange form made from a strange metal which, though far less lovely upon the eye than copper, held a sharper edge. He led the peoples of Tawantin Suyu wisely and, when blessed by gold and birthright, freedom to choose their own local governance. None can replace him!

None can replace him but someone must take leadership of Tawantin Suyu or it will fail and suffer the evils of other, less gentle, nations. I, Mayta Capac, though but a mere twelve Cycles of the Moon in age must take this burden. I take it not lightly, I cannot hope to live to equal my Father, but I shall defend Tawantin Suyu against all evil men. Honour shall I give to our friends and to all my Father’s Treaties be true but beware any that think mere age should’st be a barrier to my equality with my duty. Would’st any of thee mighty nations of this World seek to befoul the lands of Tawantin Suyu by War or Corruption Mayta Capac shall not be found wanting!
