Another hunting party returned to the village with news. While following the mountains southeast, the hunting party saw a small village atop one of the mountains. Upon investigating the area, the hunting party discovered ashes from campfires long since abandoned which gave no indication as to who may have camped there before. The party continued southeast across the plain and discovered remnants of other people. It was obvious these people still lived in the area, but the hunting party never encountered any of these people. Not wanting to startle any possible neighbors, the hunting party left the area as they had found it, minus some wildlife that provided nourishment for the party.

The citizens of Pendragon returned to their homes to get their clubs. They quickly came
out to find that the strange men where gone. They pondered who those men where and
what they could have wanted. Maybe Pay was their names, maybe they were hungry
and wanted food, maybe they wanted to be friends. It was not clear what they could
have wanted but one thing was sure they had to find these people and learn more. The
scouting party which was originally scouting the north was sent to find these Pay
people.



It was clear to the citizens that not having leadership at the city could have lead to
much larger problems. It was then that the Order of Britannia was formed. The order had
five members who were chosen by the citizens to serve as the leadership of Britannia.

News came by a runner from our Warrior band that a number were killed in a battle with lions and panthers. Fortunately our warriors prevailed and then discovered a village whose inhabitants healed our warriors and provided great knowledge to help them on their travels.

Meanwhile in the growing city a curious number of citizens explored the hills where the strangers were seen. No more harps can be heard in the area where the strange ball scratching geeks spied on our lands. They burned the hilltop from afar to ensure no plague is spread in our lands by their strange ways. There is great fear in the city because no official emmissary has been received. A call to arms has been raised by a number of citizens. They are calling for new weapons to defend the town. Despite pleas for reassurance Saladin has remained isolated and is only concerned with medition since the discovery of the great religion - Islam. Our wise men are pleading for calm as our leader searches for the truth to distressing concerns of his people.

It did come to pass as years were followed by decades and then by centuries. That there was an obvious division in the Korean leadership. The original warrior clans that had led Korea since time began, were now finding arguments coming from the town workers, the leaders of the families who looked after the food distribution. Whilst the warrior clans usally silenced any division by force, it was becoming more clear that as the population grew, there were more farmers than soldiers.

This was the begining of the merchant class. They would continue to build in numbers and power the armed forces were still the suppliers of the Despot who lead Korea, but evne they had begun to change some decisions they made to appease the family leaders of the workers.

‘Touch the Cloud’ continued on his exploration of the new land that the tribe had not seen before.

He sent ‘smoke’ messages, which ‘Blue Corn Maiden’ could interpret.

She told the elders that ’Touch the Cloud’ had seen plenty Buffalo, plenty Boar. She said that ‘Touch the Cloud’ spoke of a long and high mountain range from where he had survived Grizzly and that he had struggled hard, for many moons, through dense wet undergrowth.

He was happy to have found a rich supply of color pastes.

Then the signals spoke of encountering strange large animals: like anteaters, only with long larger noses.

The elders in the Tipee were pleased to hear reports of ‘Touch the Clouds’ journey.

His last ‘signal’ spoke of meeting a black cat. ‘Blue Corn Maiden’ knew that this was a reference to death.

She sat on a mountain top searching the skies. At last she saw the smoke pattern that she wished. ‘Touch the Cloud’ had beaten the black cougar.

'Touch the Cloud' also spoke of seeing through the undergrowth, signs of another 'Indian' tribe.

Roman scientists (ooc: they are admittedly none too good at this point in time) have deciphered earlier Korean text using the Oracle of Googleum which is situated just outside the city of Rome.

This Oracle gets inebriated by eating ripe berries of a certain plant that is left in the sun for a couple of days, after which a long incoherent rambling starts. It is through these ramblings that Roman Science finds enlightenment and meaning in these dark pagan times.

The Oracle was able to discern the following:
