The Dance of Civilizations [Diplo Game] [Organization Thread Pt1]
When Russia and Ottomans sign peace, I think only India and Persia are at war. I think the turn timer can be lowered because the both of us usually play our turns pretty quick.
Something like 15 hours works for me.

Ok, 5 more hours for me is good enough.
And the odd time that it won't work I'll let Robert know to pause the server. I'm sure we can do that smoothly.

Gave good rates (6's and 7's) to Mali and Natives b/c I think they got way too little all the time! Especially for attitude.
All smaller civs that continue to participate in this game got good rates from me.
Story: Russia, India and Korea got a 7. Russia and India for creative and self-defined story styles. Korea for creativity and ongoing dedication.
Russia, Ottomans and Arabs got 7's for attitude as well b/c they waged those wars with a perfect attitude, no matter if they won or lost! Awesome!
England got a 7 for his perfect diplomacy. Not sure if it was as perfect for me, as I write this, but it was for him either way! Good work England. I hate you if you tricked me! Good work nonetheless!
Persia, can you finally drop the long stories? They cause me headaches because I have to read them all, fearing that I may miss an important hint, buried somewhere in the middle!
- Great Stories Russia and Persia!
- Too bad the Incas seem to have lost interest in the diplo-side of the game...
Was a very active month for diplomacy! That Arabian-Greek war really stirred people up. Lots of high marks. But plenty of low marks too for people who were silent.
Great stories Persia & Russia! Definitely a step above everyone else! Good stuff near the end, Natives, too.
As for attitude, high marks Greece for coming into a pretty crappy civ and then finding yourself on the losing end of a war. Great job sticking with the civ and continuing to be active! Good job Ottomans for taking a loss in the war with Russia too. And good job Russia & Arabs for starting wars! Poor attitude marks to all the civs that dogpiled in the Arab-Greek war. Finally, Korea's constant whining makes the game less fun for everyone.

Sad to see I got such low marks for diplomacy. Have been very active diplomatically with my neighbors, just not much to show for it in public. Expected I would at least get an average rating of 4's from everyone.
And thanks to whoever gave me 6's and 7's this month. I'm an active player and have enjoyed the game even if I am not strong storywise. To be in the top half at this point scorewise is very surprising to me

Ottoman has yet not played his turn and though we are discussing peace we are still formally at war. Unless a peace is signed I must continue the war, but it is not my turn.

Well last time someone was gonna miss a turn we paused it to avoid the troops healing and thus changing the situation greatly in the war. But it seems most of the battles are over at the moment so a mutual round of healing wouldn't disadvantage anyone. So I don't think it'd hurt things much if you both missed a turn.
