Rip van Greekle has returned to subbing for Greece; and Korea at the moment - due to original players PC not running Civ 4.

Rip was away for 3 days and PM Frank took over the subbing for BOTH of these civs. This was transparent in civstats.

Original Korea is in charge of Korea and all PM's. He's always around.

I am in charge of Greece (DoC) PM's even when away.

Sorry for confusion but it is anon and should not really matter. All of this info passes through the game organiser as well.

Thanks. Mystery is good but pm'ing A suggesting an attack on B is never good when you find A and B are being played by the same player, so I do like to try to keep track of who is where! And though I have no plans to attack either its good to be reminded that Korea and England are bound together in this way.

Even that is NOT a problem.

As an out of game sub I am entirely detached from any civ and totally objective but I do take your point

As I posted when I started subbing for Greece I declared a potential conflict of interest with Korea. Korea and England (quite separately from any of my plans) supported Greece in our war with Arabia. Mostly morale boosting posting support from Korea.

England is a strong ally of Greece and even India has potential deals with Greece.

Greece is way behind of course and needs friendly neighbours

I played a civ2 game once with my brother, then he captured my capital (naval sneak attack) and my empire (twice his size) splitted into two. That was really not fun for me!

It's only fun if it happens to the AI. Nobody likes it to lose half his cities at once :eek!:

I appreciate the smilies as you admission that the suggestion that I ever pm you suggesting an attack on my friends the English is a dispicable lie!

I'm surprised though that I am in a minority of one in thinking that this kind of unbreakable occ alliance between two powerful nations isn't unfortunate for the game, but so be it, if i'm in a minority of one I'll shut up.
